Natural variation in the heat treated finish is normal and purely aesthetic. It does not change the strength, performance, or overall effectiveness of the muzzle device. Please see pictures for examples.

I purchased this for an AR15 in 7.62×39. Does a decent job of mitigating flash. It’s not quite as good as an A2 but is not nearly as obnoxious like the compensator I was using before and I like it much better than the Q Cherry Bomb with and without the whistle tip. I have not used this with a suppressor.

Purchased to pair with a Rearden Atlas setup for my AR 10. I can’t say enough good things about the flash hider. The machining was fantastic, finish is great, and it mates right up to the Atlas. LPM makes great stuff. Can’t wait til my Spark suppressor clears.

Solid Flash Hider. It is however dead sexy, great that it doesn’t need to be timed, and works amazing with, dare I say it, a whole host of compatible mounts. I have run this under Q, as well as Rearden. These are my go to flash hiders. Shoot all things suppressed!

The most aesthetic of the LPM muzzle devices. Look great especially in HT. Not the greatest at suppressing flash.

It’s a more functional muzzle device than a cherry bomb when shooting unsuppressed. Does suppress flash decently as well. I have a few of these and all have been well machined and passed a concentricity test using an alignment rod on my can.
